Privacy Policy
Who we are
Impulsive Software Ltd ("we", "us") is a software company registered in England & Wales. We publish apps for Android and Android TV, including Ultimate IPTV Player. For anything in this policy, contact support@impulsivesoftware.com.
What we collect
Nothing. Our apps have no user accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal data. We operate no servers that receive data from our apps, and the apps contain no analytics, tracking or advertising code.
Data that stays on your device
Our apps store the information they need locally on your device only. For Ultimate IPTV Player this includes:
- Your playlist login details (server address, username, password for your own IPTV subscription) — stored on your device and sent only to the server you configured, to load your own content.
- Preferences and activity — favourites, resume positions, hidden categories, parental-control PINs, themes and settings.
- Optional service keys you add — such as an OMDb ratings key or an OpenSubtitles key (see below).
- Local backups — the app writes a settings backup file to your device's Downloads folder so you can restore after reinstalling. It never leaves your device unless you move it yourself.
Uninstalling the app removes its stored data (your backup file in Downloads remains until you delete it).
Connections the apps make
Our apps only connect to services you choose or configure. For Ultimate IPTV Player:

These requests go directly from your device to those services; nothing passes through us. Third-party services process such requests under their own privacy policies.
Content responsibility
Ultimate IPTV Player is a player for a subscription you already have. It does not include, sell or provide channels, streams or video content, and we have no visibility of what you watch.
Children
Our apps do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Ultimate IPTV Player is a general-audience app and includes free parental controls that let you PIN-protect content and settings.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or erase — your data is on your device, under your control. If you believe we hold any personal data about you (for example, from a support email you sent us), contact us and we will confirm, and delete it on request. UK GDPR rights apply; you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Support email
If you email us, we receive the details you include (your email address and message). We use them only to answer you, we don't add you to any marketing lists, and we delete support threads when no longer needed.
Changes to this policy
If a future app or feature changes how data is handled, we will update this page and its effective date before release. Material changes will also be noted in the relevant app's update notes.
